Adventurers Final Rest

"The outrider stumbles into town, their mount bleeding and limping. They pull an arrow from their arm. "They...they're coming. They know nothing can stop them. We ... you need to try. Try and hold them. I shall go for reinforcements. If you can: Kill them"

In this 24XX ttrpg for 1 or more players, you play ordinary villagers just living your life. You've had adventurers come through your village and know the endless trouble they can bring - from insisting everything is linked and it's part of some great scheme to treating you like peasants. 

Ok, no. Less than peasants. 

Now you have a mission. Stop them.

Stop them anyway you can.

But you're just a humble farmer with a scythe, or a butcher with a cleaver, or a inn-keeper providing food and drink, or a wise woman who knows her way around herbs. What ever could you do... other than make it the adventurers' final resting place.

The rules include methods of generating different village types with specific villagers needed to run them as well as a randomised party table to generate the murder hobos - including class, items, traits and weaknesses and reasons for them passing through your homestead.
